A Hundred People Giving a Hundred Dollars . . . because . . . Orphans Matter. Imagine this: a hundred people giving a hundred dollars once a year. 100 dollars, that’s 8 dollars and 33 cents a month. For that you can buy a pizza, get a couple of coffees or maybe go to a movie. Friends of Hand of Hope, we are very grateful you are considering joining us! As our ministry expands we are looking for people who are willing to spend part or all of their summer helping us run camps at Immanuel Conference Center in the Czech Republic. What exactly does it mean to be a summer intern? A summer internship means you get to spend several hours each day with the children from orphanages. Also, you will get the opportunity to deliver a variety of exciting missional activities as part of the team. These include: performing the practical work of the Ministry, sharing your testimony, having personal conversations with the orphans, and developing the Ministry in an area in which you feel gifted. Here is what one intern had to say about their service at Hand of Hope: “My name is Hannah and I helped at Hand of Hope for my third summer this year. Czech has captured my heart and I feel so much joy spending time with the...More Information

We are now recruiting Teams for spring and summer 2017! When I (Vojta) first participated at a camp in 2012, I was expecting to give. I expected to serve orphan kids, I was going to give up a week that I could spend enjoying the beautiful summer weather by a lake. So I told mysef I would not care about my needs and rather give my time for a good matter. Little did I know how important this week would be for me. The camps give you an amazing opportunity to grow in your faith and share it with others. The time spent with orphan kids helps us realize how blessed we are in our own lives and encourages us to share this blessing with these children who have a difficult life. Being at a camp shows how valuable it is to work in a team – you experience the power of group of people working together for God’s glory. As I mentioned earlier, my week spent at an...More Information
